FREEDOM FOR BARINOV
BBC TV News recorded Valeri Barinov’s triumphant arrival at London Heathrow after we campaigned for his release from Russia.

WORLDWIDE IMPACT IN RIO
TV & media worldwide covered our campaign to expose death squads that were killing 3 children a day in Rio.
With help from the late George Harrison and Sir Paul McCartney, among others, we lobbied the President to take action, and later set up the first shelter in Rio for street girls named after Princess Diana who sent us a message of support.
SMUGGLED AID INTO ROMANIA
We smuggled aid into Romania before Ceausescu’s fall and later worked with the charity set up by the Beatles’ wives to rebuild orphanages. Barbara Bach, Dave Stewart and Olivia Harrison at the launch event.
FIRST FREE FOOD KITCHEN IN MOSCOW
We started the first free food kitchen after the fall of the Soviet empire in partnership with Dorcas Aid and run by former prisoner of conscience Alexander Ogorodinkov.
ACTION FOR CHINA’S ORPHANS
We were featured in True Vision’s award winning documentary (Return to the Dying Rooms) on Channel 4TV.

BRITISH SEX TOURISM EXPOSED
Undercover investigations by Fr Shay Cullen and Danny Smith featured on ITV News at Ten, Sunday Mirror, News of the World, etc exposed travel agents selling child sexual exploitation tours. We lobbied for a change in the law – successfully in the UK and Eire.
RESULTS AT DOWNING STREET
Glenda Jackson MP and Aninha Capaldi took our 20,000 plus petition calling for a new law and our report into child prostitution to Downing Street.
BILLY CONNOLLY HELPS FUND RESCUE HOMES
Billy Connolly with Danny Smith and his daughter Jessica at the launch of Tickety-Boo Tea. Billy donated the profits to Jubilee’s work in India (with Bombay Teen Challenge) to rescue Children at Risk.
LAW CHANGED IN THE PHILIPPINES
Young children like Rosie were held in overcrowded cells with rapists and murderers till our campaign with Fr Shay Cullen in the Philippines led to a change in the law for Kids Behind Bars. This was accomplished after international media coverage and wide political action.

TAKEN by award wining photojournalist Hazel Thompson is a groundbreaking photo documentary ebook that exposes the shocking secrets of Mumbai’s brothels and reveals real-life stories of girls tricked, trafficked and sold into 21st century sex slavery. Hazel has donated the worldwide profits from TAKEN to Jubilee Campaign for the rescue mission for girls trapped in modern slavery.
We held an inspiring launch party for the ebook at London’s legendary Hard Rock Cafe. Thanks to everyone who helped particularly to Marc Carey and our friends at Hard Rock Cafe.
