This vile crime exploits vulnerable children and destroys lives everywhere – even in the UK. UN experts warn that child porn on the internet is increasing rapidly despite attempts to curb it.
We want tough action and are working with Fr Shay to lobby for a new law in the Philippines to protect children. We have already won the support of an influential US politician.

Just as hundreds of street children experienced sexual abuse and mistreatment when illegally imprisoned with adults before the passage of the Juvenile Justice Bill, the abuse of children in the child pornography industry is equally distressing and unconscionable in today’s world. I remain deeply concerned with the thousands of children whose lives are destroyed on a daily basis by the abuse related to the child pornography industry and am heartened to know that Parliament is trying to address this serious problem.
